MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Write a query to identify candidates who have applied to more than three jobs in the last 30 days, ranking them by their most recent application date.

Use the provided candidates and applications data. Treat applications with a NULL application date as outside the reporting period.

Output

  1. One row per qualifying candidate with candidate_id, candidate_name, application_count, most_recent_application, and application_rank.
  2. Include only candidates with more than three applications in the last 30 days.
  3. Rank by most recent application date descending, with ties sharing a rank. Sort tied rows by candidate_id ascending.
