Tell me about a time you completed a technical assessment by building a series of small projects.

Implement a function that returns a valid build order for projects with prerequisites. Return an empty list when the prerequisites contain a cycle. Use the signature build_order(projects, prerequisites), where projects is a list of unique strings and each prerequisite pair [project, prerequisite] means the prerequisite must be built first.

Constraints

1 <= len(projects) <= 1000
Project names are unique non-empty strings
Each prerequisite contains exactly two project names
Every project named in prerequisites appears in projects
A prerequisite pair [project, prerequisite] requires prerequisite to appear before project
