Your question is Build Retail Data Systems. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

How would you build and maintain data systems that power a retail business?

Treat this as a practical pipeline design exercise. Describe how you would ingest data from operational retail systems, transform it into trustworthy analytical models, orchestrate batch or streaming workloads, and serve downstream reporting and operational use cases. Explain your technology choices, data contracts, testing strategy, observability, failure recovery, incremental processing, backfills, and how the design would evolve as data volume and business requirements grow.
