Your question is Build a Simple Audio API Server. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

Take-home: build a simple API server for managing user audio files: POST /files to upload raw audio data with metadata; GET /list to list stored files with filtering by query parameters (e.g. ?maxduration=300), returning JSON; GET /download to download file content; GET /info to return an AI/LLM-generated summary of an audio file (the LLM call may be mocked).

Asked in the take-home stage. Deepgram Backend AI Engineer interview prompt as restated in the candidate's README ('From the interview prompt').
