Bug Fixing and Testing

MediumPython

Problem

Tell me about a time you found bugs in a frontend codebase and verified the fix with testing.

Implement find_verified_fixes to identify test cases that failed before a change and pass afterward. Given expected outputs, pre-fix outputs, and post-fix outputs, return the indices of tests where the pre-fix output differed from expected and the post-fix output matched it. Use the function signature and input/output shapes below.

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(expected) = len(before) = len(after) <= 300
  • Each result can be an integer, string, boolean, or null
  • Return indices in ascending order
  • A test is verified only when it failed before the fix and passed afterward
