Basic JSON Parsing Script

EasyPython

Problem

Write a basic Python script to parse a JSON response and validate specific key-value pairs.

Implement validate_json_response(response, expected_pairs). The function receives a JSON string and a dictionary of required key-value pairs. Return True only when the JSON is a valid object containing every requested key with its expected value. Return False for invalid JSON, missing keys, or mismatched values. Additional keys in the response are allowed.

Constraints

  • response is a string containing JSON text.
  • expected_pairs is a dictionary with JSON-compatible values.
  • Return False when the parsed JSON is not an object.
  • Additional keys in the parsed object are allowed.
  • Key matching is case-sensitive.

Function Signature
