North Cloud Spend provides daily cloud-spend records. Given a list of spend records and an inclusive period of integer day identifiers, calculate the average cloud spend per calendar day in that period.
Each record contains a day and a non-negative amount. Multiple records may have the same day, and days without records count as zero spend. Return the result as a floating-point number. Do not round the result.
Implement average_cloud_spend(records, start_day, end_day).
records is a list of dictionaries, each with integer day and numeric amount fields.start_day and end_day are integers defining an inclusive period.end_day - start_day + 1.def average_cloud_spend(records, start_day, end_day):
