Angles of Elevation Trig

MediumPython

Problem

Determine the height of an object using trigonometric angles of elevation and depression.

Implement height_of_object(observer_height, elevation_angle, depression_angle) using degrees and return the height rounded to 6 decimal places. The observer views the object's base at the angle of depression and its top at the angle of elevation; assume the object and observer are vertically aligned over level ground.

Constraints

  • 0 < observer_height <= 10^6
  • 0 <= elevation_angle < 90
  • 0 < depression_angle < 90
  • Angles are specified in degrees
  • Return the result rounded to 6 decimal places
