Aggregating Metrics by Region and Month | Dataford Interview Questions

Create a query that aggregates sales data by region and month.

Use the sales table. Include only rows with non-null region and sale_date; null amount values should not prevent valid rows from contributing to totals.

Output

One row per region and calendar month
Columns: region, month, and total_sales
Format month as YYYY-MM
Sort by region ascending, then month ascending
