I went into the process expecting a DSA-style round, mostly because that’s what I associated with the early stages. The interview ended up feeling more like a design session, and I honestly enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
The questions were very grounded in C++, so I was thinking in terms of how to reason with language features rather than just solving abstract algorithm patterns. The whole vibe was comfortable and conversational, and I walked away feeling like I could explain my thinking clearly even though I’d initially prepared for something else.

Difficult Positive Foster City, CA
The process moved quickly and felt pretty structured. It started with a recruiter phone screen, and after that I was slotted into an interview day.
On the same day I had three back-to-back rounds. The first combined system design with a coding exercise. Next was a Python-focused trivia and coding round. The last was a manager chat with behavioral questions. Instructions were straightforward, and the recruiter stayed helpful throughout.

System Design & Problem-Solving
The interview loop includes system design discussions that require candidates to navigate real-world constraints and make decisions under pressure. Some candidates found these scenarios challenging, as they demanded structured reasoning and practical application rather than abstract problem-solving.

Interview Difficulty & Candidate Experience
Candidates generally found the interview process to be thorough and demanding, with some expressing that the intensity and variety of topics made it feel exhausting. While many felt the process was fair, others noted inconsistencies in expectations and communication that affected their overall experience.
Several candidates reported a lack of clarity and closure at the end of the process, with some experiencing ghosting or delayed feedback after the interviews. This uncertainty contributed to a feeling of frustration, especially after investing significant time and effort into the interview stages.
