I came in through recruiting, and the early steps were quick: a short call with HR to confirm basic fit, then a brief conversation with the team lead where I talked about a feature I had built. After that, I had a Zoom interview that was slotted for about an hour and a half, and it mostly revolved around implementing a small Angular-based interface on a coding platform.
The exercise itself was honestly pretty trivial—basic UI work—but I ended up over-engineering parts of it. I completed the task and then answered a couple follow-up questions about how I would do it differently. After about forty-five minutes, the interview ended earlier than the scheduled time, and that cut short feeling signaled that they weren’t interested in continuing.

I started with a short phone screening, and the whole early stage felt upbeat and well explained. In the online assessment, the questions were fairly easy, and the focus seemed less about matching specific LeetCode puzzles and more about whether I could actually code and think through what I was doing.
After that, I had two additional interviews—one with a senior software engineer and another with a software engineering manager. Those rounds mixed behavioral and technical questions. I didn’t have to write code during those interview sessions, which made it feel more like a discussion of fundamentals and how I approached problems rather than a live coding grind.
