Difficult Negative Israel

My process began with a generic email containing a link to an automated exam that I could take during a one-week window. The test had a large set of questions—multiple-choice items plus two separate coding-solving prompts.

What surprised me was how little closure there was if you didn’t pass. If I didn’t meet their bar, there was no clear rejection message or explanation; I was essentially left hanging to figure out on my own that I hadn’t made it.

Easy Negative United States

I went into the process expecting a couple of rounds, but the experience quickly turned chaotic. Both interviewers showed up late to the scheduled meetings and didn’t seem prepared. Even the recruiter call started late, and during that conversation it was hard to get clear answers about what the company was doing and even basic details like how large the dev team was.

The subsequent interview with a senior engineer followed the same pattern—he arrived late too and asked me to wait while he looked for my resume. He also didn’t seem familiar with front-end topics and told me there wouldn’t be React questions, then spent precious minutes searching for a JavaScript question right near the end of the allotted time. When the interview time was almost over, it felt like the technical evaluation was improvised.
