I did a live coding round with a senior engineer and then a cultural fit round with another senior engineer. The interviews themselves went reasonably well, and I felt good enough that I expected a clear next step. But after that, HR feedback was vague: the decision was framed as the team choosing not to move forward, and I didn’t receive any concrete explanation about what went wrong.
