After I rescheduled, she still didn’t see it on her calendar, so I had to pick yet another slot further out. The day of that last rescheduled time, I finally received an email confirming the meeting, and I contacted her just to make sure I was still on. I got the interview after that and was moved forward.
The next step was an AI mock call. I knew the basics about the product, but the AI asked deeper questions than I expected, and I was trying to answer while it was essentially cutting me off. The timing felt rushed, and when I paused between thoughts, it escalated—there was yelling, and when the call ended it felt abrupt and hostile. I attempted to book a follow-up appointment for the next day, and it still didn’t go anywhere.

Even after multiple attempts to check in, I didn’t receive a “thanks, but” response—just no response at all, despite reaching out. I also had moments where I needed to chase updates myself to stay informed.
