I started with an easy process that felt pretty straightforward. I was contacted first and then scheduled a call, and the recruiter/HR screening came before I met the engineering side. Across the conversations, I mainly talked through my background and gave a self-introduction, then moved into questions tied to what I’d listed—company-related topics and job-specific areas like my branch.
After the recruiter call, there was a manager/hiring-manager style interview where it was mostly resume-based: they asked about my experiences and what I was looking for, and I also discussed my motivations and strengths. In one instance, there was a factory tour alongside the interviews, and I ended up meeting different engineering groups including design and testing engineering.

Average Positive Malvar, Province of Batangas
I went through a process that started normally but soured quickly on communication and professionalism. I had a recruiter stage first, and then the expectation was to meet a supervisor/manager afterward for onsite interviews. The questions themselves were pretty standard—mostly centered on what was on my resume and explaining my background—but the bigger issue was how the scheduling and follow-ups played out.
I had a virtual interview setup that never got a proper meeting invite, and the timeline felt inconsistent after I completed a questionnaire. There was also awkwardness around how quickly things moved and whether the hiring side was actually available to interview. In my case, the tone and responsiveness didn’t match what the process claimed, and the email interactions had lots of attention-grabbing emojis.
