I had a three-round path that started with a 30-minute recruiter call, followed by a 30-minute meeting with the hiring manager, and then a 30-minute peer conversation. The final step was an onsite presentation to a panel. One detail that made my process feel a little different was that I ended up talking to two separate hiring managers because I was considered for two positions, along with one peer.

I enjoyed most of those conversations—everyone felt professional and friendly, and the recruiter and managers spent time talking through what the role and typical day-to-day might look like. I was surprised they considered me at all since I didn’t have pre-sale experience, and that ended up being the reason I wasn’t moved forward after the onsite presentation.

I had multiple interviews with people across the team, and they all happened pretty quickly—one after another. The sequence eventually led to a presentation to the extended team. After that presentation, I realized they didn’t give any concrete feedback back to me afterward, and I wished I’d been able to understand what I could improve or whether I was being evaluated on how coachable I was.

The process moved fast, but the lack of feedback made it feel harder to close the loop when I didn’t get an offer. What lingered most for me was the sudden ending without any guidance, especially after putting energy into a broader presentation stage.
