After a recruiter touchpoint, I went straight into a fairly tight sequence: an HR interview, then a hiring manager conversation, followed by two back-to-back interviews with peers. Once those were done, I completed a writing assessment. The whole flow felt organized and fast-paced compared to some other processes I’d been through.
I remember finishing the assessment and expecting the usual next-step follow-up. Instead, I was told the role was no longer being filled after everything I’d completed. It left a weird taste because the interviews themselves had gone fine, but the process essentially ended without a real decision or closure.

Difficult Positive Costa Rica
My process felt intentionally thorough and genuinely challenging. It was described as an extensive, well-thought-out journey, and I could feel that the goal was to test how I handled complexity and pressure rather than just walk through standard surface-level questions. I ended up going through multiple expert interviews—five in total.
Each conversation raised the bar a bit, and the overall vibe was that the team valued depth. I didn’t leave any round feeling like I could coast; the questions kept pushing into areas where I had to be precise and confident in my thinking.
