My interview journey ended up being pretty lengthy. I went through several separate conversations, including multiple rounds with leadership—two hiring managers plus a peer and a director. The final stage was the most intense: I had a presentation to a panel and also did a mock customer meeting.
Across the process, the questions were behavioral-focused, and each interviewer seemed to emphasize different competencies. I always knew what kind of theme they were evaluating, but the overall difficulty came from the sheer number of people and the weight of the final panel-style exercise.

After I submitted a direct application for an open role, I heard back from the recruiter, and the first step was a phone screen. That call was straightforward and centered on my background and the fit for the position.
Soon after, I moved into a video conversation with the hiring manager. The tone was pleasant and the flow felt well structured, but I left feeling like I still didn’t get much clarity on the actual day-to-day or the deeper projects I’d be working on. Even with a comfortable, organized experience, the interviews didn’t provide the level of detail I was hoping for, and I didn’t progress to an offer.

Interview Structure & Stages
The interview process typically involves multiple stages, starting with a recruiter screen, followed by interviews with hiring managers, and culminating in a presentation to a panel. Candidates should expect a well-organized sequence that builds in intensity and complexity throughout the stages.

Presentation & Panel Dynamics
A significant aspect of the final evaluation involves a presentation to a panel, often simulating customer interactions. Candidates should prepare to demonstrate their communication skills and ability to convey value in a consulting context.
Interviews heavily focus on behavioral questions that assess various competencies, with different interviewers emphasizing different themes. Candidates should be ready to articulate their experiences using frameworks like STAR to convey their fit for the role.
While the initial stages of the interview process are generally well-communicated, candidates report issues with follow-up and closure after the final decision. Candidates should be prepared for potential delays in feedback and a lack of closure if not selected.
