Average Positive United States

I applied and ended up with a multi-round set of interviews that leaned heavily into storage and hardware-adjacent technology. The first parts were technical and the questions revolved around storage concepts—especially things like PCIe and NVMe—and I kept moving through technical rounds before finally reaching HR. In total, it was four rounds: three technical and one HR.

Each technical conversation stayed consistent in theme, and it felt like they wanted me to go beyond surface-level definitions. I had to connect the topics to practical understanding rather than memorized terms, and the HR step was more of a final checkpoint on how I fit the role and organization.

Difficult Positive New Delhi

I started with a fairly heavy written assessment before I ever got to live interview rounds. The test was multiple-choice with three separate parts, each packed with 20 questions. The topics cut across C/C++ and data structures, aptitude, and even digital electronics. What made it feel difficult wasn’t just the breadth—it was the way they later walked through the correct answers and the step-by-step process for arriving at them, including how they expected me to think through problems.

After the written piece, I moved into two technical rounds. The questions were tied closely to that same written-test foundation, but they also asked me to go deeper on my own project details. Those conversations stayed focused on explaining what I’d built and why I made certain choices, not just reciting surface-level facts. Overall, it felt like they were trying to confirm I could both handle fundamentals and explain reasoning clearly, and I didn’t get an offer.
