Average Positive London, England

After I applied, the process kicked off with a pre-recorded video round where I answered questions to a computer. I remember having to get my answers across clearly even though it felt very fast-paced, and I had multiple attempts available to redo questions. A lot of it was framed like “tell me about your background” and why I was pursuing this kind of work, but I also got prompts that pushed on marketing thinking—like pitching a proposal—and general fit questions.

A short time later, I moved into a live set of conversations that felt more about how I operate than just what I know. There was a group discussion where we reacted to competitive prompts and they looked for how I handle quick turns, personality, and presence. I also had a final conversation with the hiring manager where the discussion connected back to team fit and work style, and then I was given space to ask questions.

This wasn’t a typical “rounds” story for me so much as a role-details reality check. When I looked into the position, it came through with clear expectations: I’d need to help craft and organize social content for different brands, write strong posts, and collaborate closely while operating in a high-energy environment. It also spelled out the reporting line to the Social Media Manager and made it clear the job wasn’t remote.

Because my experience here was mostly about the role description rather than a multi-step interview sequence, I can’t map out a full hiring journey. Still, it set my expectations early about the pace and collaboration level the role demanded.
