Average Negative Noorvik, AK

I applied online and the process moved pretty quickly once my application was in. I usually got a recruiter or HR-style call to line up an interview, and the interview itself was brief and conversational. I talked with someone from the store team or hiring side, and the questions were mostly the standard ones—why I wanted to work there, how I handled customer service situations, and basic reliability-style prompts like availability and whether I could perform the tasks the role required.

The format was often straightforward: a phone screen or virtual check, then an in-person conversation at the store. I walked through my experience and answered behavioral questions like a time I went above and beyond, and how I’d respond to an upset customer. At the end, they also explained what the day-to-day looked like and confirmed expectations around schedule, teamwork, and the physical demands that come with the work. It didn’t feel like a tense interrogation—more like they were trying to see if I was comfortable, dependable, and ready.

Difficult Negative United States

My process started normally enough—first contact with a recruiter/screening step and then more in-depth conversations—but it quickly turned frustrating. I went through multiple stages, including a call and a meeting with the department manager, and then I was invited to an in-person interview with a panel of team members.

After the second interview, the communication completely dropped off. I never received a follow-up email or any explanation, and I ended up feeling ghosted after putting in the effort for the next steps. In another part of the process, I also had an experience where the interview wrapped up early and the role just didn’t match my salary expectations, which made the whole thing feel like it was cut short. The most negative part was when I showed up and the manager never came, leaving me waiting and then hearing nothing afterward.
