Average Positive Sweden

My process was unusually quick. After just a couple of interview steps, I was given an offer, and I accepted. Even though it was fast, it didn’t feel purely casual—the flow included a personality test and an analytical reasoning test that I completed after qualifying through the first interview.

Because of the short turnaround, it felt like they were making decisions efficiently based on both the interview and the assessments. I didn’t get the sense that there was a long chain of deep technical rounds, and overall it left me with the impression that the process was optimized for speed and decision-making. The end result was positive, and I was mostly relieved at how rapidly everything moved.

Average Neutral Sweden

The biggest thing about my process was how slow it was. There were three interview meetings, but the whole timeline stretched across roughly two months. I ended up choosing another company while I was still waiting for updates.

It wasn’t that the interviews themselves were uniquely hard—it was the lack of responsiveness afterward. By the time I stepped away, I just kept thinking that the process could have moved faster, especially if they expected momentum from me too. No offer came from Volvo, and what I carried out of it was frustration more than disappointment.
