Average Positive Upper Holloway, England

After a recruiter phone consultation, about a week later I moved into a more interactive sales-focused stage. The recruiter call had me talking through my relevant on-target sales experience, the data and numbers I’d used in my previous role, and what actually drew me to the company and the job.

The next step felt more like an assessment of how I could think on my feet. I went through role-play scenarios where I had to “sell” to a specific customer profile using three different products: one scenario was for a new UK citizen coming from China, and the other was for a returning customer who wanted to review their current plan. Both scenarios challenged me to structure the pitch quickly and keep it customer-relevant rather than just listing product features. Overall it felt like a fair test of sales execution, and I left with the sense that they cared a lot about how I approached the selling moment.

Easy Positive Germany

I went through a fairly short, relaxed conversation that lasted about 30 minutes. It focused on my motivation and personal fit, and the chat took place with someone from the department along with a current intern. I expected something formal, but it felt easygoing.

They asked me about why I wanted the role and what prior experience I brought with me. The discussion also included a few content-related questions, but nothing that felt like a heavy technical test. It was mostly about understanding me—how I thought about the job and whether my background matched what they were looking for.
