I started with a recruiter-style introduction, then moved into a technical flow that felt very SQL-and-core-CS focused. The early technical questions covered object-oriented programming basics and SQL fundamentals like the difference between a primary key and a unique key. From there, they drilled into DSA concepts such as sorting and searching, and tied a lot of what they asked back to my projects. Depending on the round, they also asked very direct DBMS topics, including joins, keys, and concepts like triggers.
After that, the process kept expanding into more DB and OOP questioning, usually with a mix of problem-solving style prompts. In one stretch, they focused on database mechanics like foreign keys and referential integrity, and I had to write SQL queries rather than just talk through definitions. I also got questions around core Java things like inheritance, encapsulation, and method overloading/overriding, plus project-based follow-ups where they wanted specifics. The format was mostly an interview setting after short tests, and it was clearly selective—at least a couple of times, it felt like only a small fraction of people were able to clear the bar. Even when the interviews went smoothly, the wait after feedback could drag on.

Average Neutral Pune
I had a five-round journey that started with aptitude, then a group discussion, then an HR round before the technical interviews kicked in. The HR conversation was mostly about what I knew about the company and the job, along with whether I was willing to work in shifts. The first technical round felt relatively easy and leaned heavily on Java and SQL.
The last technical round went well too, and it was mostly about walking through my projects and answering basic technical questions afterward. Even though my interview went smoothly and the feedback felt positive, I never heard back after that point. The process ended up feeling like the most frustrating part wasn’t the difficulty—it was the silence right after the final conversation.
