Difficult Positive Gurgaon, Haryana

I joined a virtual first round where the questions felt heavily split between front-end JavaScript theory and hands-on JavaScript coding. On the React side, I was asked about the idea of a virtual DOM and why hooks like useMemo and useCallback matter, plus when something like react.memo helps. I also got questions around context API and a Redux-style flow, and I remember being asked about the difference between using useRef versus useState.

For pure JavaScript, I had to write and explain a specific pattern output: 9 8 7 4 5 6 1 2 3, which matched a snake-and-ladder style pattern. There were also deep questions about closure—how it works, what it captures, and how function hoisting changes the way outputs happen depending on how the code is structured. Overall it was a difficult round and I left feeling like the evaluation was very detailed, especially around both React concepts and JavaScript fundamentals.

Average Negative India

I went through an AI assessment at a walk-in event, followed by a technical round. I ended up clearing that technical step, and later they told me I would receive a virtual HR call. The HR call didn’t happen immediately—it took around ten days for it to come through.

After that HR call, I had one more technical interview, and it went smoothly. The disappointing part was the reason I didn’t proceed: they said I didn’t have hands-on experience with AWS, so my profile was held back even though the interviews themselves had gone fine. The whole experience felt like it hinged on that specific skill rather than my performance in the rounds.
