I applied and then got an assessment to complete. I finished it, but after I submitted everything I never heard back at all. The whole thing left me with the impression that the role might have been more about keeping applications active than actually moving candidates through.

It felt like a ghost job situation for the Denver area—once the assessment was done, there wasn’t even the courtesy of a follow-up. I didn’t feel like my time was valued, and the experience didn’t give me any closure.

After applying through LinkedIn, I went straight into a multi-step process that felt pretty structured. I started with a cognitive assessment and a behavior test. Once that cleared, I had a technical discussion/interview that lasted about an hour, where the interviewer focused heavily on the skills I listed on my resume.

The conversation tracked through my resume pretty much top to bottom. I was asked questions tied to my projects and the technologies I’d mentioned, including Python and Java, Django, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Bootstrap, plus MongoDB, NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib. I kept feeling like they were intentionally covering everything I wrote down, which actually helped me stay on firm ground because I knew those areas well.
