My process moved fast once the automated system kicked in. I got the same technical assignment I’d completed in a previous cycle, and I worked through it carefully and turned it in again. This time I received clear, explicit feedback that my code was excellent. After that, the recruiter called and scheduled an onsite interview.

The day before the onsite, I emailed for missing logistics, mainly because I didn’t have all the details I needed. Instead of replying, the recruiter called me directly and asked whether I’d done that assignment before. I answered honestly, and the recruiter canceled the interview immediately on the spot. It felt surreal—like the tracking or resending of an assignment was treated as a reason to penalize me, even though I’d done exactly what they asked and it had been graded positively. I ended up not moving forward, and that experience left me frustrated because it felt unfair to be punished for the system’s failure to manage applicant history.
