Average Positive Chennai

After an assessment stage, I moved into a technical round and then an HR round. Most of the technical discussion started with my resume and past work, and only after that did the questions shift toward automotive-focused fundamentals. The interviewer asked about automotive protocols and the basic electronics concepts behind them, and I felt like the difficulty matched the “average” level they were targeting.

The HR round was short and fairly direct, lasting around 15 minutes. It mostly served as a check-in after the technical conversation, and the whole flow felt like a straightforward progression from screening to role fit, without any surprising curveballs. I didn’t end up receiving an offer, but the process itself felt orderly and manageable.

Difficult Positive India

My process leaned heavily into embedded systems and automotive software concepts, and the overall difficulty felt clearly challenging. The discussion focused on embedded C and my project work, and it quickly moved into AUTOSAR-style thinking—layered architecture and how the pieces fit together. I also got questioned on ISO concepts and how ASPICE methodology connects to quality and development.

On top of that, I was asked about diagnostic requirements and different diagnostic services, which pushed the conversation beyond basic theory. They also probed practical skills like debugging and tool knowledge, including how I would flash software. By the time we were in the hands-on parts, it felt like they were testing whether I could operate in the real workflow, not just explain concepts.
