After a recruiter touchpoint, I had a technical screen over the phone where the questions felt like a warm-up followed by the real test. The first question was straightforward—basically a simple conditional/if-else style problem. The second one was more like a graph traversal challenge: I worked through something BFS-related.

A couple of onsite rounds came after that, and they were split between coding and system design. The overall difficulty felt average-to-high depending on the round, but what stood out most was the experience around scheduling: the interviewers arrived slightly late and then seemed rushed to move on to their next calls. That meant I didn’t get much space to ask questions, and the conversation ended up feeling less supportive than I’d expected. I got enough signal about the bar and the environment that I was ultimately not expecting an offer, and honestly it left a bit of a sour impression.

I did an initial screen and I immediately knew it wasn’t a match. I was relieved when it seemed like the interviewer felt the same way. The conversation felt very transactional—there wasn’t much room to build rapport, and the interviewer didn’t come across as technical.
