Difficult Neutral Toronto, ON

My journey had a super structured, almost rigid feel to it. I went through multiple phases: a first round that happened on campus, followed by a second round at the Toronto office, and then a superday. Even before the superday, the process felt more like a formal schedule than a flexible conversation, and it was noticeably different from what I’d seen with similar big-bank roles.

The superday involved a full day of in-person interviews with many interviewers, each with a similar cadence. I ended up speaking with a large number of people for short stretches, and it was very “by the book” in terms of how questions moved. The overall difficulty landed higher than average, and the rigid format made it feel less forgiving if I stumbled early.
