After I connected with the recruiter, I moved straight into a technical screen with team members followed by an HR conversation. The whole schedule was tight and felt pretty streamlined: the technical part included live coding plus data-structure-and-algorithms style questions, and the HR round leaned into behavioral prompts—there was a lot of storytelling expected, including star-pattern style responses.
The interviews were professionally run and stayed on pace. I remember the technical and HR discussions both feeling like they were meant to move forward quickly rather than drag, and even though one interview slot was scheduled for an hour, the conversations wrapped up in under that time. The interviewers were cordial and kept things organized, which made the process feel smoother than I expected.

Average Positive United States
My process felt structured and fairly collaborative from the start. I began with a recruiter step where I talked through my background and fit, then I shifted into a conversation-style interview focused on projects and experience. Even though it was more about discussion than interrogation, the questions still stayed anchored to the role and what I’d done before.
After that, the interview process stayed simple in format: there weren’t whiteboards or a formal code exam. Instead, the rounds leaned on walking through my resume and digging into specifics about the work I’d described, with the interviewers staying friendly and engaged throughout. The virtual calls with other software engineers felt like they were genuinely trying to understand how I’d approach the kinds of problems described in the job.
