I had a pretty straightforward process that felt organized from the start. After the recruiter call, I got scheduled quickly and, about a week later, I joined a coding interview. The question was a LeetCode-style medium problem focused on graphs, specifically BFS, and the interviewer was genuinely kind and helpful when I got stuck.
The next round was more of a hiring managerial discussion. It pulled from my resume and also tested technical knowledge through theory questions and follow-ups. The vibe was less about finding a single “right” answer and more about seeing whether my thinking matched the kind of professional culture they were looking for. Overall it felt average in difficulty, and it ended without an offer, but it was still a smooth, respectful experience.

My process for the Android SDE 2 role centered on fitment more than deep technical problem-solving. It was a single 30-minute fitment conversation where the discussion stayed on Android fundamentals and my background. The interviewer joined late, and we still did a formal introduction before getting into what ultimately mattered to them.
They asked me about why I wanted to switch roles, and the conversation didn’t turn into actual technical questions at all. Even though it was framed as an Android discussion, it felt closer to understanding my motivation and alignment with the role than assessing coding ability or specific platform knowledge. The experience was pretty easy on the technical difficulty, and it didn’t lead to an offer.
