My experience felt genuinely easy and very accommodating from the start. The conversation was mostly about my qualifications and what I wanted to get out of working in that lab. What I remember most is that the flow was relaxed and supportive.

During the interview itself, I went through them using a Q&A style conversation, and the questions were meant to test whether I truly understood the ideas and could think critically about what I read.

The whole thing felt targeted and a bit intense, mainly because the papers were the core of the assessment.
