I applied through the UnitedHealth Group portal and got a HireVue invite later that same day. The assessment felt manageable—about five questions, mostly behavioral and “why” oriented, like telling a story from my experience and explaining why I wanted sales and why the company.

The next day I was contacted to schedule time with the hiring team, and I set my interview for the following Monday. That round was with a hiring manager and the program/location leader. They walked through the role in more detail, and then the conversation revisited some of the same themes from the HireVue, while adding a few new behavioral questions.

My process ended up being three rounds, and it felt like it gradually got more specific as it went on. Early on, the conversations were broader and leaned into using AI for general knowledge, like getting a read on how I thought at a high level.

As the rounds advanced, the meetings became more in-depth and involved discussions with team members. The overall vibe was that the first step was about setting context, and the later steps were about testing whether my approach and experience actually fit the work.
