Difficult Negative United States

Early on, I had a phone call that went well—the person on the other end was friendly. But the first interview I attended ended up being the hardest and most uncomfortable one I’d ever done. Every question felt extremely technology-specific for what was supposed to be an entry-level role, and the whole thing came across more like an interrogation than a conversation.

It was online, and the interviewer didn’t turn on their camera, which added to the uneasy feel. The questioning style made it hard to settle into a normal interview flow, and instead it felt like I was being tested in a very rigid way.
