My first round was a technical discussion with the hiring manager over Teams. The call started with introductions and going over the tech stack, and then it moved into practical areas where I had to cover things like Python coding needs and working knowledge of Terraform.

We also talked through clouds and Kubernetes experience as part of that same conversation. After that, I went into a technical round with coding questions, and then there was a managerial round followed by an HR discussion. I didn’t get an offer, but what stood out was that the process mixed tool familiarity with actual coding rather than keeping them separate.
