My experience felt oddly repetitive and disconnected from the kind of role I thought I was interviewing for. Across weeks, I went through multiple conversations where the interviewers were essentially reading from a prepared list of questions, and it didn’t feel very organic. Between the HR rep, panels, and then the hiring manager, it turned into at least six conversations, all centered on the same style of prompting.
There was a point where I felt like the interview didn’t match the expectations for an experienced product manager. Even when I answered thoroughly, the structure stayed rigid, and I couldn’t shake the sense that it was more about checking boxes than evaluating how I’d actually drive product work.
