I started with a 30-minute recruiter call, then moved quickly into a one-hour technical interview on CoderPad with a single interviewer. The vibe was friendly, and I was able to solve most of the problem, though I did need some nudging on one part. Afterward, I was told the interview went well and that the role was moving through a timeline where hiring would happen later into the next year. I kept waiting, and eventually I wasn’t considered further.

I got referred into the process and quickly ended up working through Greenhouse. The first technical part was an hour-long phone screen focused on React fundamentals. I even looked up a piece the interviewer had published on Medium about Next.js upgrades, and it helped me feel more grounded going in. We covered topics like hooks, passing and manipulating props, and how rendering works; it was a lot of higher-level discussion with plenty of buzzwords, but it mapped to the kind of frontend work I expected to do.

Once the onsite was scheduled, my recruiter gave me a list of people and their assigned topics, which made the four-hour virtual onsite feel more organized than intimidating. The panel included the hiring manager plus several staff or senior engineers, and many rounds included someone shadowing. The discussions covered problem-solving, a technical case study, and API design/data modeling, followed by a recruiter check-in at the end. After the panel, I received positive feedback within a day or so, and before I got to an offer stage I met with my new manager and the directory of engineering to make sure everything was aligned.
