Average Negative United States

I kicked things off with a recruiter phone screen, and that was followed by a couple of video calls with the hiring manager. Across those conversations, the focus was pretty consistent: they wanted my sales background and how I’d approach the work day-to-day, plus the story of how I’d gotten to where I was. The recruiter was also clear about the flow of the process, which made the whole thing feel organized instead of vague.

From start to finish, it moved on a fairly normal timeline for them—about a few weeks end to end. After the recruiter call, I had the subsequent steps scheduled shortly after, and while I didn’t speak to endless layers of people, it did feel like the hiring manager was actively involved by the time I got to the later rounds. One part that stood out to me was how much detail the recruiter gave upfront about what to expect, which lowered the anxiety during the wait.

Average Positive New York, NY

My interview started with a recruiter connection, and then I moved into video and in-person discussions that felt much more formal and leadership-heavy than I expected. I ended up speaking with multiple managers and at least some directors, and the final stage involved a live presentation delivered to a group of managers. Communication early on was mostly through recruiters, with the hiring manager presence ramping up more as the process went on.

What made the experience feel different was the amount of leadership attention on the final stage and the sense that it was more than just a casual conversation—there was a real performance component with the presentation, and I had to talk through my thinking in front of people who were clearly evaluating from different angles. The difficulty felt average overall, but it was still thorough, and I could feel that they were validating fit at multiple levels.
