After a recruiter call, I had a manager discussion and then a technical coding interview that took about an hour. The coding part went fine and I also had a good conversation about optimizing what I built. Still, the process soured after that—there was about a week or so of silence, then I got a response that felt like an automated rejection without any real explanation. The overall vibe in the interviews was also hard to shake; it seemed like the interviewers were going through the motions.
What stood out most was the time sink and the lack of closure. I was told things were moving fast with a big pipeline, but the communication didn’t match that at all. By the time the final email arrived, it didn’t address why I wasn’t selected, and I was left feeling like I’d done the work for nothing, only to be quietly dropped at the end.

Average Positive Thiruvananthapuram
My interview journey had three main parts and it felt tightly focused on specific technical building blocks. First was a technical round that leaned heavily on object-oriented programming concepts—especially as they connected to a product I was being asked to build using an AI coding agent. On top of that, the round included data structures and related problem-solving.
After that, I had a managerial round, and then I wrapped things up with an HR discussion. Overall, it was all consistent with evaluating both how I think through OOP and how I structure solutions, not just surface-level explanations.
