Difficult Negative Chandler, AZ

This was one of the most frustrating experiences I had, mainly because it felt disorganized from the start. Toyota made multiple requests for phone interviews, but when it was finally time for Toyota to call, there was no real attempt made to connect.

I remember being surprised to still receive a rejection letter that basically said it was nice to speak with me—even though I wasn’t actually interviewed, so I had no idea who they spoke with or what they based the decision on.

I applied online and then quickly got a recruiter phone screen. From there, the process moved efficiently into a video interview with two managers. The schedule felt tight and organized, and the overall timeline from application to offer was about two to three weeks.

The interviews themselves were more conversational than technical, which made it feel easier to connect my experience to what they were looking for. Even though it wasn’t a long set of steps, I still felt like they were actively listening and engaging.
