Difficult Positive Luanda, Luanda

I had a pretty direct path at the start: I applied online and then received an invitation to an HR interview that was easygoing. The conversation included an overview of the company and simple questions, nothing that felt overly technical or intense. After that, I was invited to a technical interview where the role was explained again in detail, and the questions stayed on the simpler side rather than going deep into advanced engineering topics.

Later, I went through a more demanding interview loop that contrasted sharply with that earlier ease. In a February interview, two engineers from the subsea technical direction evaluated my compatibility with the role, looking both at general oil-and-gas field fit and at my working skills and behavior. I left that second round feeling like it was a more serious assessment of context and how I operate under that domain.
