Difficult Positive India

My process started with a resume/phone screening, then moved quickly into an OA and a set of interviews. After the OA, I had a technical round followed by a final behavioral round, and overall the sequence felt fairly standard for a backend SWE loop.

On the technical side, the problems were manageable but had one frustrating constraint: I wasn’t allowed to search up APIs during the coding portion. That meant I leaned heavily on having the right language knowledge and whatever autocomplete/intellisense-like support I could use. The interviews also incorporated résumé-based Q&A, so it wasn’t purely abstract coding.
