Difficult Positive New York, NY

I started with a recruiter screen, then had another call with the hiring manager. After those early conversations, I went in person for a long panel-style day: four separate 30-minute conversations as part of a roughly two-hour panel interview, followed by a final presentation round. Altogether, it added up to seven distinct conversations, so it was definitely a marathon.

A lot of what I was asked leaned into behavioral questions and quick hypotheticals, and the in-person format made it feel like I had to think on my feet. People were generally friendly and personable, but the actual content was challenging—there were plenty of tricky questions that tested both how I approached problems and how I communicated in real time.

Average Neutral New York, NY

I went through a multi-round ad-tech style process that started with a recruiter call and then moved to a hiring manager conversation, followed by multiple rounds with coworkers. The friendly vibe was consistent—people came across personable and easy to talk to.

What stood out was that I ended up with an extra presentation requirement that didn’t feel fully aligned with the rest of the process. The presentation was meant to test both my data abilities and how I could lay out a strategy with an executive-level overview. The format was unusual compared to the rest of the interviews, and it made the process feel a bit less streamlined than I expected.
