After a resume-driven start, I got pulled into a fairly standard sequence of technical rounds. The process felt mostly centered on fundamentals and practical problem solving rather than anything exotic. I remember one coding question that leaned on a hash map approach, and then the later part of the technical portion shifted into core CS topics across operating systems, computer networks, and DBMS.
In another segment of the process, the difficulty stayed around medium: I was asked DSA questions plus additional questions spanning OS and DBMS. Interviewers were approachable, and when I made mistakes, they didn’t shut me down—they offered hints as I worked through it. The coding was usually only a small slice of what I was evaluated on, because I also had to cover how the concepts fit together.

It broadened into generic system design as well as DE-specific design questions, and that’s where the pressure increased. I remember thinking the structure of the discussion mattered almost as much as the details, and the depth expected from me was higher than in the first round.
