Average Neutral Chicago, IL

I went through a fairly standard sequence for the analyst-track role, and what stood out first was how friendly the interviewers were. There were two rounds with analysts and associates. The questions blended behavioral prompts with technical questions, but the technical part felt more like a check of competence than a high-stakes exam.

I also remember the tone: the people I spoke with were genuinely kind and interested in getting to know me. It didn’t feel like a trap or a rapid-fire interrogation. Instead, the vibe was to see whether I fit the culture and to understand why I wanted to work there. Being treated with respect made the round feel easier to navigate, even though I still had to answer both behavioral and technical topics.

My interview started with a first call that felt typical—focused on my background and resume. Then the process shifted toward a more technical interview. I ended up moving through stages that alternated between fit conversations and more role-specific questioning, and it felt like they were progressively narrowing in on both communication and technical comfort.

At one point, I went through a panel-style format with multiple senior managers. The early rounds were still fairly conversational, but I remember technical content showing up more clearly as the interviews progressed. I also had experience-related and CV-based questions throughout, including some scenario-based moments, so it wasn’t purely “tell me about yourself.” In the end, there was an in-person round that came only after I was selected.
