My start was pretty unusual because the initial screening happened through automated SMS. The first text was general HR-related, and then a second message arrived a day later asking me to rate my experience against the technical qualifications for the role.

After a couple more days, I had a panel interview where I got grilled with lots of situational and behavioral questions. I didn’t perform well because I went in nervous and unprepared for that style of questioning. There was also a moment where I was asked if I could show something related to a network diagram, which made the technical expectations feel very hands-on.
