My TI embedded-software journey felt like it was built to test whether I could operate close to the metal. It began with an online technical assessment that focused on C programming and embedded concepts, with MCQs on electronics and debugging-style problems. The questions leaned into pointers, memory management, and core embedded reasoning rather than abstract theory.

After I cleared that, I moved into one or two technical interviews centered on low-level C and the embedded environment: microcontroller architecture, RTOS concepts, memory management, and interrupt handling. I had to explain past work too, especially projects involving hardware, sensors, drivers, or anything real-time, because the conversation kept pulling back to my role and the decisions I made. When I spoke about my implementations, I was expected to justify trade-offs and describe how I approached debugging.
