I went in expecting a more normal hiring flow, but it started with something that immediately felt off. I was asked to take a test prior to an interview, yet I never received feedback or any review of what I submitted. There wasn’t even a call or any follow-up explaining what they thought.
After that, I only got a generic template response, the kind that makes it clear it’s been sent to a lot of people, and then they cancelled the interview. The whole process felt negligent and unprofessional, largely because there was no real communication around the test I had completed.

After applying online, I got pulled through a pretty clearly structured sequence. First came an online application, then a HackerRank test. After that I had an initial recruiter chat, followed by a technical interview with an engineer, and then the process moved into the final rounds.
The last part was two separate interviews, each roughly 45 minutes to an hour. One of the sessions stayed more technical, with deeper questions from an engineer, and the second interview was with a hiring manager where I discussed my background as well as my goals. Overall it felt well managed and communicative, with the recruiter keeping me in the loop the whole time.
