Difficult Negative Bengaluru

My experience started with a lot of movement that quickly became hard to trust. I went through multiple client rounds, and at the end the client did tell me I was hired. For a moment it felt real—then the position went on hold just a couple of days later, and the whole thing felt like a waste of candidate time with no clear explanation.

Separately, the recruiting process also felt messy around references: I was pressured to provide professional references, and after I shared contact information in a limited way, my reference’s personal phone number was obtained and they were contacted directly without my consent. Even with that, my resume never seemed to be submitted to the client, and there was no clear reason why. By the end, the pattern of urgency without follow-through left me feeling cynical about how the process was being run, and it didn’t result in an offer.
